We are currently looking for a Warranty Specialist for France, the details Job responsibilities as below:
Position Value
As Warranty Specialist France, you will manage the daily operation and compliance of GAC France's vehicle and parts warranty business. Your mission is to oversee warranty policy implementation, dealer claim reviews, cost control, returned parts management, dealer audits, administrator training, and system data integrity.
You will ensure accurate, fair, and efficient warranty management to protect customer rights, support reasonable dealer settlements, control non-compliant claim risks, and continuously improve the warranty operation quality across the French aftersales network.
📍 KEY POSITION DETAILS
Location: Boulogne-Billancourt, France (HQ / Regional travel as needed)
Contract: Full-time (CDI)
Languages: Fluent French & Working English
🎯 WHAT YOU WILL DO
Policy & Process Setup: Maintain France warranty manuals, claim standards, and coverage rules for vehicles, traction batteries, and service parts.
Claim Review & Compliance: Review, approve, adjust, or reject dealer warranty claims in DMS; spot duplicate or non-compliant claims.
Cost Control & Settlement: Monitor warranty spend per vehicle, support Finance with dealer reimbursement/credit notes, and manage Goodwill applications.
Returned Parts & Quality Control: Oversee warranty parts sampling, high-voltage battery component logistics, and failure-analysis tracking.
Dealer Audits & Training: Conduct warranty administrator training, perform regular remote/on-site audits, and enforce corrective action plans.
Digitalization & Data: Manage DMS warranty parameters, VIN records, and monthly risk/trend reporting for GAC Europe & HQ.
👤 WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Automotive/Mechanical Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields.
Experience: 3+ years in automotive warranty claims, aftersales operations, or dealer settlement.
Industry Focus: Experience with an NEV / EV OEM, Importer, National Sales Company, or Dealer Group is strongly preferred.
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of claim review logic, standard labor times, parts settlement, and basic NEV 3-electric system diagnostics.
Languages: Fluent French (written/spoken) + Working English.
Tools: Strong proficiency in Excel; experience with DMS, Warranty Claim Systems, or SAP is a plus.
