We are looking for a Chinese speaking Country Manager, based in Berlin, to play a key role in our German market entry and cross border business development, the details Job responsibilities as below:
👤 Who You Are:
The Country Manager (Germany) is responsible for achieving our commercial goals in Germany by building up the (NSC) operation in Germany. The Country Manager is responsible for developing and building up the local dealership landscape, understanding local laws, regulations, and the automotive market, negotiating business proposals, and facilitating the dealer network onboarding process; building the brand and developing the tools and services needed to be successful in Germany.
🎯 Key Responsibilities:
Build German NSC with the EU HQ together.
Support the setup and daily operations of the newly established German entity, including coordination of administrative and cross-functional matters during the start-up phase.
Take ownership of certain operational and administrative responsibilities in the early-stage organization setup to ensure efficient local business operations.
Collect market information in target regions and prepare market business plan and analysis reports.
Achieve annual invoicing and retail sales targets within Germany.
Manage dealer operations and evaluate the implementation of business policies within the Germany; funnel Management KPIs of the assigned Dealer Network and create actionable improvement plans.
Handle and provide guidance on daily operational issues, challenges and opportunities.
Steer in brand marketing and promotional activities within Germany.
Responsible for developing and following up on key accounts.
Complete other tasks assigned by the company and senior management.
💼 What You Bring:
Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial functions within an automotive NSC or OEM headquarters environment; experience supporting Chinese automotive brands in overseas market expansion is preferred.
Experience within automotive industry or mobility services.
Educational background in Business Administration, Marketing, or related education.
Customer-oriented mindset & Results oriented, with an entrepreneurial mindset.
Excellent teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to prioritize and work proactively with efficient time management skills.
Great negotiation skills.
Experience in Fleet and B2B business operations will be preferred.
Proficiency in Chinese is mandatory; English can be used as a working language, and proficiency in German as a working language is preferred.
Thorough knowledge of commercial management software and digital tools.
Comfortable working in a start-up environment and able to balance both strategic business development and hands-on operational/administrative tasks.
Strong adaptability and execution capability, with the ability to build structures and processes from 0-1 in a fast-growing organization.
Strong cross-cultural communication and coordination skills, capable of acting as a bridge between the local German team, European team, and China headquarters team.
