We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Warranty Manager to lead and continuously improve our warranty operations across the European region. This role is critical in safeguarding customer satisfaction, ensuring regulatory compliance, controlling warranty costs, and providing actionable quality feedback to internal stakeholders. The Warranty Manager works cross-functionally with After-Sales, Technical, Finance, Legal, IT, and Headquarters teams to ensure a robust, fair, and efficient warranty ecosystem.

You are a structured, analytical, and hands-on professional with strong knowledge of automotive warranty operations. You combine technical understanding with financial awareness and are comfortable enforcing standards while maintaining constructive partnerships with distributors and internal teams. You are confident working in an international environment and using data to drive decisions, prevent risk, and improve product quality.
🎯 Key Responsibilities:
1. Warranty Policy & Standards Management
Develop, implement, and maintain regional warranty policies, service terms, and warranty manuals in compliance with local legislation and internal brand standards.
Establish, standardize, and continuously optimize warranty-related Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across the distributor network.
Define, review, and audit labor rate reimbursement standards and parts markup policies to ensure fair, transparent, and compliant claim settlements.
2. Warranty claims management & compliance
Oversee end-to-end warranty claim adjudication processes, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely settlement of distributor claims.
Monitor claim quality and performance, identifying deviations from policy or process.
Lead on-site and remote warranty audits to detect non-compliance, process gaps, or fraudulent activities, protecting company financial interests.
Manage complex or disputed claims by providing clear technical, financial, and policy-based justifications.
3. Financial oversight & cost control
Prepare and manage the annual regional warranty budget, including regular forecasting based on vehicle parc, failure trends, and market developments.
Monitor and analyze key warranty KPIs such as cost per unit (CPU), claim frequency, and average repair cost, proactively identifying financial risks.
Coordinate supplier recovery activities with headquarters and relevant departments to reclaim warranty costs related to supplier or component defects.
4. Quality feedback & continuous improvement
Establish and manage an early warning system using warranty and field data to identify emerging quality issues or abnormal failure trends.
Provide structured feedback to R&D, Manufacturing, and Technical teams to support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Support the planning, execution, and financial settlement of recalls, service campaigns, and technical improvement actions.
Act as a key liaison between warranty operations and technical support teams for high-cost, safety-related, or recurring repair cases.
5. Training & stakeholder collaboration
Develop and deliver warranty-related training programs for distributors, covering policy updates, system usage, audit findings, and compliance requirements.
Support capability building of distributor warranty administrators to improve claim quality and operational efficiency.
Work closely with After-Sales, Finance, Legal, Sales, and HQ teams to ensure alignment between warranty strategy and overall business objectives.
Lead, coach, and develop the regional warranty team, setting clear performance targets and supporting professional growth.
6. Warranty system & process optimization
Own and continuously improve warranty system processes in cooperation with the IT department.
Translate business needs into system enhancements to improve efficiency, transparency, and data quality.
Support system rollouts, upgrades, and user adoption across the distributor network.
💼 What You Bring:
Minimum 5 years of working experience in the automotive warranty, aftersales, quality, or service operations.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical and financial data.
Solid understanding of warranty legislation, compliance requirements, and audit principles.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in an international environment.
Fluency in English; additional European languages or Chinese are a strong plus.
