Logistics Management Specialist (Base: Austria)
The position demands predictive problem-solving for supply chain disruptions and quantifiable cost-efficiency outcomes through data-driven process.
Job Description:
1.KD Parts Ordering and Arrival Tracking:Develop precise KD parts ordering plans based on production schedules and inventory status to ensure component supply meets production requirements. Maintain close communication with suppliers to follow up on KD parts shipment status, use logistics information systems to monitor transportation processes in real time, and promptly address exceptions such as delays or damages during transit to ensure goods arrive at the Austrian subsidiary on time and in good condition.
2.Local Logistics Management:Comply with Austrian logistics regulations and policies, reasonably plan local warehouse layouts, and optimize goods storage methods. Coordinate local transportation resources, select compliant and efficient carriers, and arrange transportation routes to ensure smooth local cargo flow.
3.Logistics Cost Optimization and Efficiency Improvement:
Continuously analyze costs across all logistics links, reducing logistics expenses by optimizing ordering strategies, transportation plans, and warehouse management. Introduce advanced logistics management concepts and technologies to enhance operational efficiency and drive high-quality development of the company's logistics operations.
4.Perform other tasks assigned by the company and superior leaders.
Qualifications:
1.Education and major: A bachelor’s degree or above is preferred, with those majoring in logistics management, supply chain management or related fields and having a solid logistics theoretical foundation being prioritized.
2. Work experience: Candidates with over 4 years of work experience in the logistics industry are preferred, especially those with KD parts logistics management experience in the automotive industry and familiarity with the logistics operation processes of automotive components.
3. Language skills: Fluent English (able to use it as a working language) is preferred for smooth communication with international teams; German proficiency is preferred for convenient communication with local partners in Austria.
4. Skill operation: Proficiency in logistics management software (such as WMS and TMS) is preferred, along with mastery of Excel for data analysis and report preparation, and candidates with certain system optimization and process improvement capabilities are preferred.
5. Comprehensive qualities: Strong planning and execution abilities, with the ability to independently formulate logistics plans and promote their implementation being preferred; good adaptability to timely handle emergencies in logistics transportation is preferred; team spirit and effective communication and coordination skills in cross-departmental cooperation are preferred.
6. Regulatory knowledge: Familiarity with logistics-related regulations and policies in Austria and the EU, including transportation, warehousing, customs, etc., to ensure the compliant development of logistics business is preferred.
